03 / Object storage

Object storage

Store application objects in S3-compatible buckets and issue credentials with the access your workloads need.

Console access requires sign-in.

Upload with an S3 client

Configure your bucket credentials in the AWS CLI, then upload a file to the d0 S3 endpoint.

export AWS_ENDPOINT_URL="https://s3.d0.eu"
export AWS_REGION="us-east-1"

aws s3 cp ./report.pdf \
  "s3://my-bucket/reports/report.pdf"

Replace my-bucket with your bucket name. Uploads require read/write access; read-only credentials are suitable for downloads.

Buckets and application access

Give each application bucket-level credentials, choose its permissions and revoke access when it is no longer needed.

  1. 01

    Create buckets

Manage buckets for your organization and connect through the displayed S3 endpoint and region.

  2. 02

    Scope access

Create read-only or read/write credentials for each bucket.

  3. 03

    Rotate access safely

Revoke credentials from the console when an application no longer needs them.

  4. 04

    See service limits

Review the bucket and credential limits and soft quota shown for your organization.

Requirements & service limits

Quota enforcement is asynchronous, and usage totals are not currently shown in the console. Empty folder markers are not supported.

Common questions

Is there a fixed storage tariff?

Yes. The tariff applies per organization across all its buckets, with included storage and outgoing traffic allowances and fixed rates for additional usage. View the full storage tariff

Is there a minimum term?

No. You can end the service at any time. Charges are calculated up to the end of service under the published tariff and settled in the monthly invoice. Storage billing

Can I use standard S3 clients?

Yes. The console provides the S3-compatible endpoint, region, bucket name, and credentials for client configuration. S3 connection details

Can credentials be read-only?

Yes. Each bucket credential can be created with read-only or read/write access, and can be revoked later. Scoped credentials

Can I see exact storage usage?

Usage totals are not currently displayed. The console shows the configured soft quota and limits. Limits and quota
